Sigma Nu is a success institute dedicated to raising the next generation of ethical leaders. We strive to help each brother have the tools, skills and mindset to take on any challenge and be successful in college, career and their personal life.

New Member Training

All prospective new members of Sigma Nu go through a 10-week Candidate Training, a program designed to teach candidates how to be a productive member of the fraternity and the skills needed to work collaboratively and successfully.

The training program teaches new members how to run their candidate class in the same fashion as the fraternity - running regular meetings, hosting community service and philanthropy events, completing a house improvement project among other things -- while integrating them into the brotherhood through Big Brothers and our Family programs. Candidates get taste of what it’s like to be a full brother and allow themselves to prove they have what it takes to be a Sigma Nu.

Brother Development & LEAD Program

Sigma Nu fosters an environment of self-improvement to develop the next generation of ethical leaders through our award-winning ethical leadership development program called LEAD. We offer the LEAD Program as a tool to assist our membership in both gaining the knowledge and developing the skills and abilities needed to be an effective and ethical leader for life.

The LEAD Program is an interactive experience designed to meet the unique needs and learning styles of our collegiate members by focusing on in-person facilitated workshops on topics relevant to their year in school and experience in the chapter, campus, and community.

Mentorship & Career Development

As collegiate members reach their final years at UC Davis, brothers become eligible to participate in both our mentorship and job matching programs meant to help connect brothers with successful alumni in their chose career paths.

The mentorship program matches either current brothers or recent alumni with other fellow alumni as a mentor, counselor and cheerleader. Our mentors focus on helping brothers transition to post-collegiate life and help support them in their career aspirations.

Our job board exists for members only where they can access job postings and receive a referral when applying for a role in a company that one of our alumni work in.
